Our History
1862
The ancestors of the firm’s founder, Kelly Wood, arrived in Idaho when gold was discovered in the Boise Basin. They were among thousands who came to seek their fortune.
1864
Kelly’s great-great uncle, Cyrus Jacobs, helped build the Basque Hotel in Boise. Cyrus Jacobs was known as a leader in community enterprises. Many years later, Kelly and his wife, Cathy Jo, held their wedding reception at the Basque Hotel.
1908
Kelly’s great-grandfather helped finance the Boise Children’s Home. The building is now on the National Register of Historic Places. Kelly feels the influence of these ancestors strongly, which fuels his desire to continue this legacy of giving back and assisting others.
2006
When Kelly Wood became a financial advisor in 2006, he considered the impact of his ancestors’ accomplishments. He built a company with the purpose of serving you, your children and your grandchildren.
